- Quality Assurance and Audit

As part of the quality assurance system in place for academic governance, various committees are created within the institutional organizational stricture to delegate the administrative running of the institution. All matters will report back to the Senate as the highest body of the institution.

It is also recommended that a Quality Audit Committee be set up to plan, develop and implement various quality initiatives of the University, including Standard Operating Procedures, Investment in People and other quality programs for both academic and non-academic processes.

An International Advisory Board made up of eminent scholars and practitioners drawn from the Muslim global diaspora, should also be established in UMM to ensure UMM programs meet international standards of quality and practice.

UMM schools should also subject themselves to a quinqaniel (five-yearly) independent evaluation by an external education audit committee appointed by the University.
